Wonderfully private, beautiful setting on the South Toe River. Nancy and Randy offer comfortable, lovely rooms at a price that anyone can afford! Breakfast is my favorite meal, anytime of the day and Nancy makes great breakfasts! I really enjoy my stays at Celo Inn!

Stayed about four years ago. Was economical and is a beautiful area to visit - peaceful - walk to river and breakfasts were nice. However, with all due respect - bring your own towels/washcloths for birdbaths only and your own sleeping bags and pillows for sleeping. Perhaps you will find they have improved the bathrooms and sleeping linens?

'The elegance of simplicity' and 'good for the soul' are the two virtues that come to mind when I think of the Celo Inn. I live in Texas but make it a point to spend several days there every few years, having visited no less than 7 times. Nancy's gracious hospitality provides a charming, peaceful experience -- substantial and sweetly served breakfasts and inviting, absolutely lovely rooms. I don't understand the comment made by another that one should bring their own sheets and towels -- my friends and I have never had the slightest problem with what is provided there. I've also met the most interesting and polite guests at the Celo Inn; I suppose the absence of TVs attracts a different type of person. The Inn is slightly rustic in its scale and decor -- and I love that about it -- but it has a European rustic feel, rather than a 'USA country' feel. If you want to slow down and enjoy a retreat from the craziness of life, you'll find refreshment here.

Staying the weekend in the cottage. It is lovely with a large lolt that is lovely for reading and long evening conversations. There is a beautiful space for eating out doors and a grill for coming sit does as well as a small kitchen. It is a lovely space for a couple or a family.

An absolute gem. Like a fairy cottage.
