Over priced for the junk they sell. Messy store. Unfriendly service. Class less.
Fred's is old. It was not orderly or stocked. It was not appealing from the front door on. It has gone down hill through the years. I will not go back as I have to travel a long way. It is not worth the time. Now if you are passing by and you need a quick something stop but I wouldn't make plans to visit. Sorry
It's difficult finding that odd item you need in Burnsville. Fred's has a talent for having exactly what you're looking for. Prices are reasonable, store is well organized and staff has always been friendly.
Most of the employees are usually very nice. Last time I was in there, Sandra waited on me. She wasn't friendly, in fact she acted as if I was an inconvenience. It wasn't extremely busy, but she evidently wasn't having a good day.
I like the prices at freds but some of them are ridiculous. But for a stop and go place it is perfect. Party supplies and school supplies have great prices.
