An amazing gallery anywhere, but especially in a small community. I was shocked the first time I went in and saw the variety they have. A must stop when you are in Bakersville.
As I was driving towards spruce pine, my baby in the back seat was crying. So i needed to pull over to check on him. I decided to pull over at this gallery because I had been curious about it since i saw the sign. I love art. I am a painter myself. I pulled in and parked. Got out to check on my baby. There was a sign there that said employees/ customers only. I thought well Im planning on checking this place out I just need to make my baby a bottle first. A man, I presumed to be the owner approached me. I assumed he was coming to talk to me about his business. That was absolutely not the case. He immediately said YOU ARE TRESPASSING. GET OFF OF MY PROPERTY. I said i just need to feed my baby. Before i could tell him I was curious about the gallery he cut me off and said well you can go over there off my property, that is why these signs are here. I just said yeah okay and left. Well sir, I guess you lost my buisness as well as anyone I know. You didnt want me there and I wont be back!
David & John are very knowledgeable about studio ceramics and the local artists.
